...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
  counties, Fort Bend and Harris.

* WHEN...Until 730 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 533 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sugar Land, Stafford, Hunters Creek Village, Bunker Hill
    Village, Piney Point Village, Spring Valley, Spring Branch
    West, Spring Branch North, Afton Oaks / River Oaks Area,
    western Memorial Park, southeastern Addicks Park Ten, Greater
    Heights, eastern Eldridge / West Oaks, Northside / Northline,
    Town West, Near Northside Houston, Mission Bend, Greater
    Greenspoint, Aldine and Pecan Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
