.This flood advisory replaces the expiring flash flood warning, as
some lingering, minor flooding may remain in poor drainage locations.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY...

* WHAT...Flooding remaining from earlier flash flooding may be
  lingering in the advisory area.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
  county, Chambers.

* WHEN...Until noon CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 905 AM CST, Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen in
    the area, which necessitated a flash flood warning earlier
    this morning. Heavy rainfall has exited the area, but
    locations that suffer from poor drainage may see lingering
    flooding impacts into the mid-day.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but only light additional
    rainfall is expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Stowell and Winnie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
