Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-041815- 1224 AM CDT Sat Oct 4 2025 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue over the coastal waters through the weekend with the greatest coverage likely staying in the offshore waters. Small craft should exercise caution in the bays as easterly winds of 15 to 20 knots with choppy waters. A Small Craft Advisory has been issued for the Gulf waters this evening through Saturday afternoon as frequent wind gusts to 25 knots are expected and locally higher seas of 6 to 8 feet are possible.
