Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-020615- 1203 PM CDT Fri Aug 1 2025 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Mariners should be cautious around any storms this afternoon as waterspouts have been sighted earlier today within some coastal storms. Persistent low seas and light to occasionally moderate winds driven by the daily seabreeze and landbreeze cycle are expected to remain in place for the next several days. With increasing moisture, there will be a continued daily risk of showers and thunderstorms into next week. Stronger winds and rougher seas can occur in the vicinity of the thunderstorms.
