Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Northeast winds have relaxed this afternoon, especially in the bays.
However, speeds over the Gulf waters remain around 15-20 knots
currently, and are still expected to restrengthen slightly overnight,
reaching up to 25 knots with a few isolated higher gusts. Seas
should still range from around 4-7 feet throughout this period.
Caution flags will be possible in the bays overnight period into
early Friday. Water levels will also be running above normal due
to the winds, seas, and moon phase. Marine conditions will
gradually improve late Friday through the weekend. A more
predominant onshore flow resumes Saturday evening and Sunday.
