.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Easterly winds will strengthen heading into the weekend,
resulting in increasing seas as a weak system develops along the
coast. This system will bring a chance of scattered showers and
storms. Caution flags are currently issued offshore, and a Small
Craft Advisory is possible at some point over the course of the
weekend. A cold front pushing offshore late Monday into early
Tuesday will bring drier conditions and a continued period of
moderate northeasterly winds and elevated seas in its wake into
midweek.
