Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship
Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

East and northeast winds have diminished into the 10 to 15 knot
range this evening, but like last night, are expected to pick
back up fairly quickly around midnight and back up to near 20
knots with some higher gusts into to mid morning hours Friday.
Further offshore, speeds in the 15 to 25 knot range should prevail
overnight. Water levels will also be running above normal due to
the winds, seas, and moon phase. Marine conditions will gradually
improve late Friday through the weekend. A more predominant
onshore flow resumes Saturday evening and Sunday.
