A long fetch of 20 to 30 knot south-southeast winds will continue across the western Gulf, producing elevated seas. This southerly flow will continue through late Saturday afternoon...followed by a cold frontal passage late in the day for Matagorda Bay and early evening Galveston Bay. There is potential for some gusts near gale force behind the front going into Sunday morning. Water levels will remain above normal until late Saturday night.
