Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-181315- 715 PM CDT Thu Sep 17 2026 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Gusty easterly winds and 4 to 6 foot Gulf seas should continue this evening, before gradually tapering later tonight into Friday. Lingering showers will also be possible through Friday morning.
