.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Though inland areas were mostly the focus for Tuesday`s storms,
focus shifts to the coast and gulf waters overnight into Wednesday.
Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near any
thunderstorms. Beyond that, winds and seas do look to be lower
than they were yesterday. A small craft advisory remains in effect
into the overnight hours, but should be able to end as scheduled.
There may still be stretches tomorrow where winds rise into the
15-20 knot range where small craft will have to exercise caution.
Elevated water levels are expected to continue into the mid-week,
but closer to 2.5 feet above MLLW than the 3 feet or high from the
past couple of high tide cycles. Winds shift northerly later in
the week, with drier conditions and lower seas and winds heading
into the weekend.
