.DISCUSSION...
Surf along south-facing shores will remain above average through the
weekend. The current long-period south-southwest swell will peak
today, then gradually decline through the weekend as the next south
swell fills in late Saturday through Monday, possibly nearing advisory
criteria.

Moderate surf along east-facing shores will persist over the next
several days as be dominated by the trades as fresh to locally strong
trades continue. Surf along north-facing shores will remain flat to
tiny, with a minor bump possible early next week.

Tides:       Heights displayed are relative to the Mean Lower Low
             Water (MLLW) datum in feet.

Surf heights can vary significantly from beach to beach along a
coastline. Surf larger than the upper end of the range provided in
the forecast will occur periodically, sometimes up to a few hours
apart. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near the surf zone,
with rip current strength increasing with surf size. Swimmers are
urged to exercise caution at all times and enter the water near a
lifeguard.
