nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A decaying trough draped from NE to SW midway across the Hawaiian
coastal waters is slowing its descent as it moves over the Kaiwi
Channel this afternoon. Another trough NE of the area will slowly
drift W through Wednesday. High pressure will build far NE
Thursday and drift SE through the weekend.
