Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A surface ridge will persist over N waters through today and will
move S on Thursday as a front enters far NW waters. The front
will stall and dissipate near Kauai on Friday as a surface high
develops NW of the area. The high will move off to the NE on
Saturday and a ridge will redevelop over N waters. The ridge will
weaken and move S as another front approaches the area on Sunday.
