158 FZHW60 PHFO 162141 OFFHFO Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii National Weather Service Honolulu HI 1141 AM HST Sun Nov 16 2025 Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240 nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. High pressure NE of the area will push further E as a cold front moves into NW waters on Tuesday, driven by strong high pressure currently to the NW that will move quickly to the E. A surface trough will form over the Hawaiian region by Monday, ahead of the cold front. Gale-force winds are forecast NW of the cold frontal boundary.
