Clear skies and light downslope winds from the NE or NNE prevail at the Makaopuhi Fire site early this morning. Moderate ENE trades today will strengthen and back to a more NE direction by Saturday. This will in turn bring increasing potential for downsloping and gusty winds on Saturday afternoon along with comparatively lower afternoon RH values. Afternoon cloud development is forecast each day, but cloud coverage is expected to be rather limited.
