As the surface high to the northeast of the state weakens, trade winds
will ease in response, with moderate trade wind speeds expected today,
becoming light to moderate tomorrow. This lighter surface flow will
allow for sea breezes to develop each afternoon and bring a slight
chance of rain to leeward and interior Oahu. Otherwise, brief trade
wind showers will move into windward areas, mostly overnight and into
the early morning hours. Temperature inversion heights near Oahu are
around 7500 feet today.
