Light to moderate trades persist under predominately clear skies
over the fire site today and Thursday. These enhanced trades may
bring a brief period of scattered showers during the afternoons of
the outlook period, clearing during the early evening. Trades
will gradually decrease after Thursday morning as the broad area
of high pressure north of the islands will begin to meander
northeastward. Temperature inversion heights near the Big Island
and Maui will range from 9,000 to 10,000 feet today.
