.DISCUSSION...
Moderate to strong trade winds will be in place this week and
through the weekend as high pressure builds north of the area.
Clouds and showers are expected be isolated through the week due to
the stable conditions, with slightly heavier showers at night. A
large south swell will impact south facing shores on all islands
this week, however Rabbit Island should be blocked from most of the
swell. The ongoing tropical systems to the south could still send
some short- period southeast swells. The east facing areas of Oahu
including Rabbit Island would be primarily exposed to the rough and
choppy windwaves from the strong easterly trade winds this week.
