.Tropical Cyclone Lala will bring heavy rain to the Big Island and
Maui County through late tonight and Oahu, Kauai, and Niihau this
evening through late Sunday night.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be
  possible.

* WHERE...The Big Island and Maui.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Significant flooding may occur due to the overflow of
  streams and drainages. Roads in several areas may be closed, along
  with property damage in urban or low lying spots due to runoff.
  Landslides may also occur in areas with steep terrain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Tropical Cyclone Lala will bring heavy rain to the Big Island and
    Maui through late tonight. At this time, amounts of 10 to 20
    inches are possible over windward areas of Big Island, with 8 to
    12 inches over windward areas of Maui. Higher localized amounts
    are possible.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be closed
  due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas may
  receive more significant flooding and property damage due to rapid
  runoff.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Tropical Cyclone Lala will bring heavy rain to Maui County
    through late tonight. Current forecast has rainfall amounts of 4
    to 6 inches with local amounts up to 8 inches.
