...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Maui, Lanai, Molokai, Oahu, The Big Island and Kahoolawe.
* WHEN...Through Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be closed
due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas may
receive more significant flooding and property damage due to rapid
runoff.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Moisture along the eastern flank of Hurricane Lowell will bring
periods of heavy rain to the main Hawaiian islands through
Tuesday. Initially, the threat of heavy rain will be highest
along windward and mountain areas, and then spread everywhere as
the winds become more southerly by Monday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Significant flooding may occur due to the overflow of
streams and drainages. Roads in several areas may be closed, along
with property damage in urban or low lying spots due to runoff.
Landslides may also occur in areas with steep terrain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
