.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A front associated with a strong low pressure system passing
north of the islands will continue to bring locally strong winds
as well as heavy showers and thunderstorms to waters around Maui
and the Big Island today while conditions improve over Kauai and
Oahu waters. The front will slow and stall tonight, and dissipate
near the Big Island through Saturday. Much improved weather is
anticipated by the weekend as high pressure builds far northwest
of the islands.
