...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM THURSDAY FOR
EAST FACING SHORES...

.Strong trade winds near and upstream of the islands will
continue to produce large and rough surf along east facing shores
through Thursday afternoon. The primary swell direction of the
short period swell will be northeasterly (030-050 degrees).

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 10 to 14 feet.

* WHERE...East facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui, and
  the Big Island.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
  will make swimming dangerous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don`t
go out.
