...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM
EDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values in the mid-90s expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine
  and central and southern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...These hot temperatures will continue into
  Wednesday before a cold front brings not as warm conditions late
  week. Overnight temperatures will provide relief, falling into the
  mid to lower 60s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
