...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal Waters from Stonington, ME to Port Clyde, ME out 25 NM...
  Penobscot Bay...

At 752 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Camden to 10 nm west of
Rockport, moving east at 35 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Isle Au Haut, Islesboro, North Haven, Stonington, Vinalhaven, Camden,
Rockland, and Rockport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
