High pressure shifts offshore today, with a light southerly
return flow arriving through late morning and early afternoon. A
sea breeze will likely enhance these winds later, with a few gusts
up to 15 mph. The relatively light winds will mean weaker mixing,
keeping most of the dry air aloft. RH values will therefore remain
in the lower 40s today.
Clouds increase and slowly lower tonight as strong inversion
settles in around 7pm. Expect great RH recovery tonight, with
clouds a bigger factor on Wednesday. Despite the clouds, it will
be warmer and not as dry as highs push into the mid 70s. A cold
front will approach the area by the evening, but is expected to be
mostly dry with only a few isolated showers.
