.DISCUSSION...
Today will be the last day of the truly hot conditions, but
above normal temperatures are expected to continue through the
weekend. The coverage of showers and thunderstorms will be a
little more widespread than previous days, but are generally
expected to be weakening as they move across New Hampshire.
Localized wetting rains are possible, but also will be
anticipating lightning mainly across the Upper Valley into
southern New Hampshire. The cold front will finally cross the
area Thursday but not before another round of showers and storms
this time over the foothills and coastal areas. It will remain
warm but not as hot Friday through the weekend. Other than
another cold front bringing the chance for rain on Sunday, high
pressure arrives with another period of dry weather next week.
