.DISCUSSION...
The area will be between two systems overnight
into Monday. A cold front advances from the west while a compact
low pressure system passes south to north over the Gulf of Maine.
Showers and storms train through the mountains and foothills
associated with the frontal feature Monday, while more isolated
showers develop along the Midcoast from the passing low. The best
chance for wetting rain will be under the training showers/storms
along the front, roughly the mountains and foothills through
Monday evening. Dry and breezy conditions look likely behind the
front on Tuesday.
