Northwest winds will be on a downward trend through tonight as high
pressure builds in and settles south of the waters Tuesday. Low
pressure passes north of New England Wednesday with SW winds
approaching Gale force. Winds briefly turn offshore Wednesday night
before increasing out of the south Thursday ahead of a cold front.
Southerly winds will likely gust to Gale force Thursday night into
Friday and then will shift westerly Friday night behind the front.
