Surf Zone Forecast for the Mariana Islands

.SYNOPSIS...There`s currently a moderate risk for rip currents for
north and east-facing reefs. This will increase to a High Rip Risk
for north and east facing reefs starting at 6 AM Wednesday, with a
High Surf Advisory for north facing reefs also begins. All of these
risks are anticipated to subside by Friday afternoon. Until then,
in addition to these concerns, a moderate risk of rip currents will
develop Wednesday morning for west-facing reefs, with a low risk
for rip currents along south-facing reefs.

High Risk of rip currents - Large waves will produce strong rip
currents, especially along narrow reefs and beaches. If caught in
a rip current, swim parallel to the beach rather than against the
current.
