0.07 inches of rain fell at the Guam International Airport yesterday,
after several days of only a trace to no rain. This allowed the KBDI
to increase slightly with today`s reading at 664, which is in the
high category. Gentle to moderate trade winds are expected until at
least the end of the week, which will prevent critical Red Flag
conditions from being met for the next few days. Fire danger still
remains elevated, especially at higher terrain where stronger winds
are expected. Afternoon relative humidity values will continue to
fall near 60 percent. A wetting rain is not expected for the next few
days and the KBDI will likely continue to gradually climb through the
end of the week.
