.Discussion...
The KBDI remains at 718, which is in the extreme category due to
elevated daytime winds. The winds will 10 to 15 mph with
occasional gusts of 25 mph for lower elevation locations, while in
higher elevations winds are expected to be 15 to 20 mph with gusts
up to 30 mph in the afternoon. The fire danger is expected to
become critical during the daytime hours, with afternoon relative
humidities expected to drop below 60 percent and elevated winds,
especially in higher terrain. Just 0.05 inches of rain fell at the
Guam International Airport so far today and a wetting rain is not
expected for at least the next several days, and the KBDI is
expected to continue to rise.
