...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM CHST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Guam.

* WHEN...Until 230 PM ChST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1223 PM ChST, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain
    in the advisory area. Doppler radar indicates additional
    moderate to heavy showers inbound. This is causing urban and
    small stream flooding. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.0 to
    2.0 inches are possible.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Dededo, Tamuning, Yigo, Mangilao, Chalan Pago-Ordot,
    Barrigada, Yona, Hagatna Heights, Andersen AFB, Talofofo,
    Mongmong-Toto-Maite, Sinajana, Inarajan, Asan, Merizo, Piti,
    Santa Rita and Umatac.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
