.Synopsis for Marianas Waters...
Moderate to fresh trade winds with occasional strong gusts are
expected through Sunday. A shear line is slowly moving south through
the far northern CNMI and is expected to move over or just north
of Saipan and Tinian by tonight, elevating the winds to fresh to
strong. There is a very low chance for short-lived thunderstorms
for northern Saipan waters for tonight and Friday. Overall,
combined seas of 6 to 7 feet are expected to increase by a foot or
two for Guam and Rota and seas near Tinian and Saipan could rise
to near 11 feet over the weekend.
