.Synopsis for Marianas Waters...
Tropical Depression Nuri (03W), well west-southwest of the
Marianas, is gradually moving northeast and expected to dissipate
over the next 24 hours. A strong active shear line is found over
the northern CNMI. This feature, along with a strong mid-latitude
system will be the primary features affecting marine conditions
through the next several days. Combined seas of 6 to 8 feet are
expected to increase significantly by Friday, as a secondary
northerly swell and tertiary southwesterly swell mix in. This will
produce seas hazardous to small craft beginning Friday morning.
