Coastal Waters Forecast for the Mariana Islands...CORRECTED
National Weather Service Tiyan GU
521 AM ChST Sat Nov 8 2025

Marianas Waters out to 40 nautical miles

PMZ150-080830-
521 AM ChST Sat Nov 8 2025

Corrected reference to Typhoon Fung-wong.

.Synopsis for Marianas Waters...
Moderate to fresh winds with occasional strong gusts will prevail
across the region today, as Typhoon Fung-wong (32W) continues its
trek toward the Philippines. Winds and seas continue to be on the
decrease as Fung-wong moves away, and are expected to fall below
levels hazardous to small craft early this morning. However, seas
will remain choppy through the weekend due to multiple swells
continuing to mix in. Combined seas of 7 to 9 feet, comprised of
lingering southerly swell, background easterly swells and localized
wind waves, are expected for today, gradually relaxing by 2 to 3 feet
through early next week.
