.Synopsis for Marianas Waters...Altimetry and buoys are showing
combined seas of 10 to 12 feet near 680 miles to the west of the
Marianas. Seas are expected to build through Friday as a long-
period north swell moves through the region, with seas may
approach hazardous levels for small craft. An approaching shear
line will start to move into the Marianas this weekend, increasing
the potential for showers. Winds and seas may also start to
build, but the exact extent and timing will depend on how far the
shear line will push south.
