...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet and dangerous rip
  currents.

* WHERE...West-facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
  swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Significant southwesterly swell driven by
  the monsoon pattern and Tropical Depression 19W, well north-
  northwest of Yap, is producing hazardous surf and dangerous rip
  currents along west-facing reefs through this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers
should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.

Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
