...ICE STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Significant icing. Ice accumulations around one quarter
  inch. Locations along and east of Highway 221 could see up to one
  half inch.

* WHERE...Avery and Burke Mountains Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Ice accumulations could make some roads treacherous. The
  weight of ice on tree limbs and power lines could produce numerous
  outages. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

An Ice Storm Storm Warning means severe winter weather conditions
are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of ice accumulations
could  make travel dangerous. If you must travel, keep a flashlight,
food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Ice
accumulations will likely lead to snapped power lines and falling
tree branches that add to the danger. Prepare for possible power
outages. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling
