* At 740 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 9 miles west of Statesville to 11 miles northwest of
  Huntersville to 9 miles west of Gastonia, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
