Northwestern Cherokee County in Upstate South Carolina... * Until 715 PM EDT. * At 614 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles southwest of Forest City, or 6 miles northeast of Lake Bowen, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected.
