...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN FRANKLIN...WESTERN
STEPHENS AND HABERSHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM EDT...

At 839 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles southeast of Dahlonega to 13 miles
south of Clarkesville to 4 miles southeast of Homer. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Toccoa, Clarkesville, Cornelia, Baldwin, Demorest, Mount Airy, Alto,
Raoul, Hollywood, and Boydville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
