...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SWAIN AND
NORTHWESTERN HAYWOOD COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM EDT...

At 619 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles east of Gatlinburg, or 9 miles southwest of Smoky Mountains-Big
Creek, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Smoky Mountains-Balsam Mountain, Smoky Mountains-Oconaluftee, Smoky
Mountains-Cataloochee, B.R. Parkway-Smoky Mountains To Balsam Gap,
Cherokee, Smoky Mountains-Big Creek, and Smoky Mountains-Newfound
Gap.
