...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CALDWELL AND EAST CENTRAL AVERY
COUNTIES THROUGH 945 AM EDT...

At 916 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles south of Blowing Rock, or 5 miles south of Blowing Rock In
Caldwell County, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Lenoir, Gamewell, Blowing Rock In Caldwell County, Cedar Rock, Sugar
Mountain, Seven Devils, Grandfather Mountain State Park, B.R.
Parkway-Linville Falls To Grandfather, Edgemont, and Collettsville.
