...NOAA WEATHER RADIO OUTAGE IN THE CHARLOTTE AND TOCCOA AREAS...

The NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards transmitters broadcasting
from Spencer Mountain near Charlotte on 162.475 MHz, serving the
piedmont of North Carolina, and from Currahee Mountain near Toccoa
on 162.425 MHz, serving parts of northeast Georgia, are off the
air due to a communications outage. Maintenance is expected to be
performed on communications equipment Tuesday August 19 in order
to restore service to both sites. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause our listeners.
