This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Piedmont North Carolina,
western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

A strong line of showers and thunderstorms will track across the
area this evening with another round possible overnight. The
greatest chance for severe weather will be across the southern
North Carolina mountains, northeast Georgia, and the western South
Carolina Upstate. Outside of these areas, confidence on the severe
weather threat remains low as activity is expected to gradually
weaken as it pushes east across the forecast area. Damaging wind
gusts will be the main hazard with any severe storms that develop.
However, an isolated, brief tornado cannot be entirely ruled out,
mainly along and west of I-26.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are requested to forward any reports of damaging winds and
tornadoes to our office.
