This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, western
North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Conditions will be favorable for slow-moving thunderstorms producing
heavy rain through this evening, which may cause isolated flash
flooding. Areas of particular concern include the foothills of the
Carolinas and Georgia near the Blue Ridge Escarpment, and in the
urban corridor of western Upstate South Carolina, including Clemson,
Greenville, and Spartanburg.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Slow-moving thunderstorms producing very heavy rainfall may recur at
times on Saturday. A localized flash flood threat will persist in
the areas described above, being increasingly likely in locations
that receive multiple rounds of heavy rainfall over the two-day
period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report any streams reaching the tops of
their banks, filling ditches, or other early signs of minor flooding
to our office.
