  Nearshore and Open Waters from Whitehall to Manistee MI...

* Until 1030 PM EDT.

* At 903 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located approximately 25
  nautical miles west of Big and Little Sable Points, moving east at
  30 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

  Ludington Light around 950 PM EDT.
  Pentwater Pier Heads around 955 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
