...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to Manistee MI...

At 1117 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 nm west of
Big Sable Point Light to near Muskegon Light to near St. Joseph
Light, moving northeast at 30 knots.

Locations impacted include...
St. Joseph Light, White Lake Pier Heads, The White Lake Pierheads,
Little Sable Point Light, Grand Haven Light, Muskegon Light, and St.
Joseph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
