...Record Cold High/Maximum Temperature For July 22nd at Grand
Island Nebraska...

This afternoon, the temperature at the Central Nebraska Regional
Airport only climbed to 69 degrees. This breaks the previous July
22nd record for coldest high/maximum temperature of 72 degrees,
set in 1947.

Today`s high temperature was 19 degrees colder than the July 22nd
normal high of 88 degrees.

Temperature records at Grand Island date back to 1895.
