Island Nebraska...

This afternoon, the temperature at Central Nebraska Regional Airport
only climbed to 7 degrees. This broke the previous Feb. 20th
record for coldest high/maximum temperature of 10 degrees set in
1918.

Today`s high temperature was 35 degrees colder than the Feb. 20th
normal of 42 degrees.

Temperature records at Grand Island date back to 1895.
