...Record-Cool High Temperature For July 17th at Grand Island
Nebraska...

Thanks to stubborn low clouds, the temperature only climbed to 71
degrees on Thursday at Central Nebraska Regional Airport. This
broke the previous July 17th record for coolest high temperature
of 74 degrees set in 1972.

In addition, this was the coolest high temperature in Grand Island
on ANY JULY DAY in three years...since it only reached 70 degrees
on July 25, 2022.

Temperature records at Grand Island date back to 1895.
